This poster promotes a fictional art exhibition by Sol LeWitt. Following the artist’s minimalist concept, the design focuses on the use of lines and shapes to create optical illusions. Contrasting directional lines also depict letters, challenging the viewer to find out the artist’s name. The exhibition information, highlighted by black rectangles at the top and the bottom of the poster, provides relief from the mesmerizing effect of the centre. This poster was selected as a 2017 Red Dot Communication Design winner and will be published in the International Yearbook Communication Design 2017/2018.
